Caliva Black Jack, Marijuana Strain Reviews
Black Jack by Caliva
Hybrid, Cross of Jack Herer with Black Domina
Indoor Grown
17% THC

These beautiful pale green Black Jack nugs are so frosty, it’s borderline problematic, what my friend Mara Felsen calls a “grinder gunker” in the most wonderful of ways. Even when you break them open, with each successive break, still more glistening trichomes reveal themselves inside.

The dense compact indoor-grown buds give off an intense spicy, peppery, piney aroma, typical of a Jack Herer. What is not typical is the floral, almost fruity flavor, not at all what was expected from the scent, but delicious nonetheless. They burn clean with just a little white ash left at the end.

The buzz on this one was fabulous! Peppy, energetic, happy, and creative, this is the perfect daytime strain. I love Caliva’s fun packaging that promises, “This is going to be fun…real fun.” There is truth to their advertising. Black Jack is the most fun high of my recent memory and is a new favorite strain.  As I have always been partial to Jack Herer, it's not surprising, but the cross with Black Domina was a welcome enhancement to my old favorite. Highly recommended.

Caliva is a Northern California dispensary, but their wares are available throughout the state via the Eaze platform.
